53 <br />REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 27, 1983 <br />Mr. James-Wensits of the South Bend Tribune inquired about. <br />the three (3) scrap dealers that have not complied with <br />license requirements and asked what effect their non-compliance <br />would have on their businesses. Board Attorney Carolyn V. <br />Pfotenhauer advised that businesses have until January 31, <br />1984 to apply for a license and technically they are in <br />violation of the ordinance.as of February 1, 1984 if they <br />do not apply or do not comply. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, Resolution No. 27-1983, recommending Council <br />approval of license renewals for various scrap dealers was <br />adopted and the Clerk was instructed to prepare the necessary <br />Council Resolution for final action by the Council at its <br />first meeting in Janaury.
