Award to Jordan Ford for $6,775.08, with trade. One (1) ea. 3.5,000 GVW Single Axle Cab and Chassis. Award to Shamrock Ford for $27,308.00, with trade. One (1) ea. 55,000 GVW Tandem Axle Cab and Chassis. Award to Shamrock Ford for $45,100.00, with trade. Central Hydraulic system for Single and Tandem Axle Cab and Chassis. Award to Neil's Automotive Service for $16,175.00. (Central Hudraulics for Single Axle and Tandem Axle $7,765.00 and $8,410.00 respectively). Two (2) small compaction rollers. Award to Deeds Equipment for $8,504.00. ($4,012.00 ea, unit + 10 H.P. Kohler Option @ $240.00 ea. unit). Three (3) Portable Asphalt Storage and Heating Units. Award to Bob Hepler Construction Equipment for $25,746.00, with trade. (Aeroil Unit @ $8,182.00 ea. + Optional Tack Tank @ $400.00 ea. unit). Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above recommendation was accepted and the bids awarded. AWARD BID - REPAIR OF ISLAND PARK WALL In a letter to the Board, Mr. John E. Leszczynski, Director, Public Works, stated that based on the review of the bids received on November 28, 1983 for the repair -of the Island Park East Retain- ing Wall Repair Project, it is recommended that the low bid of LaFree Excavating, Inc., 11252 West Third Street, Osceola, Indiana, in the amount of $1.24,252.85 be accepted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the bid awarded. APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT AND ADDENDUM The following Community Development contract and addendum were presented to the Board for approval: HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION HISTORIC PRESERVATION CONSULTANT ACTIVITY The targeted goals for this activity are to hire a consultant for 60 hours to assist with research associates with a multiple resource nomination to the National Register and completion of an industrial building study. The total cost of this activity shall not exceed $420.00. ADDENDUM I CANCO NEGLECT PREVENTION ACTIVITY This Addendum I provides for further clarification of budget categories and revision of Appendix II. The total cost of this activity shall not exceed $25,275.00. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above contract and addendum were approved and executed.. 1
