00 �9 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 3, 1985 <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the recommendations were accepted and the request <br />approved subject to the above referred to requirements being met. <br />APPROVE OPEN AIR STAND LICENSE APPLICATIONS IN CONJUNCTION WITH <br />NORTHEAST FALL FESTIVAL - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 1985 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following individuals have <br />completed Open Air Stand License applications to operate stands <br />in conjunction with the Northeast Fall Festival, sponsored by the <br />Shamrock Business Association and the Northeast Neighborhood <br />Association, to be held in the Goodwill Plaza Lot at 921 North <br />Eddy Street on September 8, 1985 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.: <br />Name of <br />Stand: <br />Northeast Neighborhood Center/Council <br />By: <br />Renelda Robinson, Director <br />Purpose: <br />To sell baked goods and T-shirts <br />Name of <br />Stand: <br />Joe's Snow Cone Stand <br />By: <br />Joseph Warnell <br />Purpose: <br />To sell snow cones, candy, misc. <br />Name of <br />Stand: <br />Garage Sale Items <br />By: <br />Claudia Manning <br />Purpose: <br />To sell garage sale items <br />Name of <br />Stand: <br />Bags Unlimited <br />By: <br />Mercidee Johnson <br />Purpose: <br />To sell shopping bags, purses, kitchen <br />decorations, misc. <br />Name of <br />Stand: <br />Woodford's <br />By: <br />Dora & Eustren Woodford <br />Purpose: <br />To sell miscellaneous household items <br />Upon a. motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard <br />and carried, the above referred to license applications were <br />approved subject to the applicants receiving favorable <br />recommendations from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Police <br />Department Traffic Division, Police Department Records Division <br />and Department of Code Enforcement. <br />APPROVE OPEN AIR STAND LICENSE APPLICATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH <br />INTERNATIONAL WATERBALL CONVENTION - SEPTEMBER 7-8, 1985 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following Open Air Stand license <br />application has been received to operate a stand in conjunction <br />with the International Waterball Convention to be held on <br />September 7-8, 1985: <br />Name of Stand: Mark Screen Printing <br />Applicant: Gerald Wiers <br />Purpose: To sell Fire Department belt <br />buckles, T-shirts, Caps <br />Location: County -City Building property <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this application has received <br />favorable recommendations and the Board has additionally been <br />advised that the applicant has received verbal permission from <br />the County Commissioners to locate the stand on county property <br />adjacent to the County -City Building. Therefore, upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the <br />application was approved subject to the Board receiving written <br />verification from the County Commissioners that Mr. Wiers has <br />permission to locate his stand on their property. <br />
