Hurley advised <br />that he has reviewed the bids submitted on August 26, 1985 for <br />the above referred to service and recommends that the City retain <br />the services of Hi -Speed Car Wash, 609 East LaSalle, South Bend <br />for full -service car wash at their two (2) locations at 609 East <br />LaSalle and 2615 Lincolnway West, Mishawaka, Indiana, at the rate <br />of $3.25 each for 1-100 units per month and $3.00 each for. 100 or <br />more units per month as well as $4.50 each for jeeps and $3.00 <br />each for motorcycles. Additionally, Chief Hurley recommended the <br />award for wet -wash only to Don's Marathon, 1836 South Michigan <br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, at the rate of $1.60 each for 1-100 <br />units per month and $1.45 each for 100 or more units per month. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard <br />and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the bids <br />awarded. It was noted that the City Attorney's office will be <br />preparing the appropriate contracts with Hi -Speed Car Wash and <br />Don's Marathon for this service. <br />APPROVE INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS - OFFICIAL ACTION <br />Mr. Leszczynski submitted to the Board for approval an Official <br />Action from the Indiana Department of Highways advising that the <br />IDOH proposes to make certain traffic control improvements on <br />U.S. 20 (LaSalle Street) and U.S. 33 (Main Street) in the City of <br />South Bend. In order to facilitate the movements of traffic over <br />the route and conform with minimum standards set up by the IDOH <br />the following traffic controls must be established as determined <br />by proper engineering investigation: <br />
