REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 5, 1985 APPROVE TITLE SHEET - FARMINGTON SQUARE UNIT NINE Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above referred to project was being presented at this time for execution. He further advised that this project includes construction of sanitary sewers and water mains with the cost of said construction to be borne by the developer. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was approved and signed. APPROVE REQUEST TO LOCATE TEMPORARY TRAILER - 2914 WESTERN AVENUE In a letter to the Board, Mr. Walter G. Schneider, ABC Heating Company, 2914 Western Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to locate a forty-five foot (451) long trailer on his property as he is opening a new food business and needs the trailer for general clean-up from the heating business. Mr. Leszczynski advised that the request has been reviewed by Mr. Joseph J. Pluta, Director, Division of Engineering and Mr. Ken Martin, Chief Inspector, Building Group, Department of Code Enforcement, and they recommend that the placement of the trailer be approved for six (6) months and subject to Mr. Schneider securing the necessary Occupancy Permit and any other permits required from the Building Department. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request approved. APPROVE SIDEWALK SALE PERMIT APPLICATION Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the following Sidewalk Sale Permit Application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of a permit: NAME OF BUSINESS: Robertson's Department Store ADDRESS: 220 South Michigan Street DATES: August 8,9,10, 1985 ITEMS TO BE SOLD: General merchandise APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the following one (1) handicapped parking permit application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of a permit: Robert J. Overholser, 2410 Solomon, S.B. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a total of one -hundred fifty (150) properties cleaned from July 29, 1985 to August 2, 1985, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the report as submitted was filed. FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the Certificates of Insurance for Art Iron, Inc., 860 Curtis Street, P.O. Box 964, Toledo, Ohio and Goshen Tree Expert Service, Inc., 17406 US 20, Goshen, Indiana, were accepted for filing as submitted. APPROVE CLAIMS Deputy City Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. 17265 through Claim Docket No. 17741 and recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the claims were approved and the report filed.
