REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 10, 1985 <br />1 <br />�_J <br />Department Traffic Division, have reviewed the request of Mr. <br />William H. Frame to conduct a block party in the 1800 block of <br />North College Street on June 22, 1985, submitted to the Board on <br />June 3, 1985, and recommend approval. It was noted that the <br />petitioner will be responsible for the closing and opening of the <br />streets and alleys with barricades to be provided by the Bureau of <br />Traffic and Lighting. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the above recommendation was <br />accepted and the request approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and <br />carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />NEW INSTALLATION, NO PARKING THIS SIDE - 2600 Kettering, <br />North side between Gordon Drive and Vernerlee. (Requested <br />by residents). <br />REVISE TO TRUCKS OVER 26,000 GVW PROHIBITED - 100-1900 E. Zick <br />60981 U.S. 31 South <br />4425 S. Michigan St. <br />June 21 to July 4, 1985 <br />Selling Legal Fireworks <br />Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations <br />have been received from the Police Department, Department of Code <br />Enforcement, and the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for the above <br />applications. Additionally provided with the applications were <br />letters of permission from the property owners. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the <br />above license applications were approved and referred to the <br />Deputy Controller's office for issuance. <br />APPROVE EXCAVATION BOND <br />Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that that <br />Excavation Bond for Charlie F. Gill, Contractor, be approved <br />retroactive to June 4, 1985. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the above <br />referred to Excavation Bond was approved. <br />RELEASE EXCAVATION BOND <br />Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the <br />Excavation Bond for DeVreese Plumbing, Inc. be released effective <br />June 20, 1985. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by <br />Ms. Barnard and carried, the above recommendation was accepted and <br />the Bond released. <br />
