OF TAXES: $33.18 <br />It was noted that the acquisition of this property by the City was <br />required in order to construct a retention basin at the location. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above Petitions were approved and executed. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - RENTAL OF <br />UNIFORMS FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENT AND BUREAUS <br />In a letter to the Board, City Controller Michael L. Vance <br />advised that the City furnishes uniforms to its Teamster members <br />as a bargained fringe benefit. Those uniforms are rented as a <br />result of bids being taken through the Board. As the current <br />Contract expires in February, 1985, Mr. Vance requested that the <br />Board advertise for the receipt of bids for the rental of uniforms <br />for various City departments and bureaus. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above <br />request was approved. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - ONE (1) CLASS <br />"A" TRIPLE COMBINATION MOTORIZED FIRE APPARATUS <br />In a letter to the Board, Fire Chief Timothy J. Brassell, <br />requested that the Board advertise for the receipt of bids from <br />reputable and qualified manufacturers for the purchase of one (1) <br />Class "A" triple combination motorized fire apparatus. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the above request was approved. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 - WASHINGTON TWO-WAY STREET PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Delta Star Electric, Inc., 22377 <br />Adams Road, South Bend, Indiana, has submitted Change Order No. 1 <br />indicating that the contract amount be increased by $3,997.46 for <br />a new contract sum including this Change Order in the amount of <br />$29,423.46. Mr. Leszczynski advised that this Change Order is the <br />result of additional expenses incurred because of an unknown <br />vaulted area at the southeast corner of Lafayette and Washington. <br />Also, for the installation of four (4) junction boxes for street <br />light circuits as well as removal of an old fire alarm pedestal. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, Change Order No. 1 was approved. <br />REQUEST OF ST. ADALBERT'S CHURCH TO CONDUCT "CORVILLA RUN" - JULY <br />14, 1985 REFERRED <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. William Michalski, 620 South Meade <br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, on behalf of St. Adalbert's Church, <br />requested permission to conduct the annual St. Adalbert Corvilla <br />Run on July 14, 1985, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The route to be used <br />will be the same used in prior years with the run beginning at the <br />church on Olive Street, to Ford Street, to Meade Street; to Sample <br />Street; to Ford Street; to Kocuisco Street; to Huron Street; to <br />Olive Street and back to the church. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the above request <br />was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police <br />Department Traffic Division for review and recommendation. <br />REQUEST OF FAIR MUFFLER SHOPS TO ERECT TEMPORARY TRAILER REFERRED <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. F.
