<3 REGULAR MEETING JUNE 17, 1986 North and South taken off of and from the entire width of the South end of said tract, for the mutual use as a driveway with the owner of the real estate immediately adjacent on the West. EXHIBIT C Lots Numbered One (1) through Eight (8), inclusive and Lots Numbered Fifteen (15) and Sixteen (16) in Block Nine (9) as shown on the recorded Plat of Vail's Addition to the City of South Bend, together with the vacated alley lying between Lots Numbered Seven (7), Eight (8), Fifteen (15) and Sixteen (16), and the vacated alley lying between Lots Numbered Four (4) and Five (5). APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADDENDUM The following Community Development Addendum was presented to the Board for approval: ADDENDUM I MONROE PARK DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MONROE PARK DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION PROGRAMS Addendum I indicates the addition of curbs and sidewalks as an eligible cost category. Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the above Addendum was approved and executed. AWARD BID - STREET CRACK SEALING PROJECT (VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT SOUTH BEND) Mr. Leszczynski advised that pursuant to the bids opened on April 29, 1986, for the above referred to project, it is recommended that the award be made to Arnt Asphalt Sealing, Inc., 1240 South Crystal Avenue, Benton Harbor, Michigan in the amount of $0.295 per pound for the application of a mixture of fiber and asphalt with the quantity of the materials applied to be decided by the City of South Bend. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the bid awarded. AWARD BID AND APPROVE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - VIRIDIAN DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT In a letter to the Board, Mr. Neil A. Shanahan, Manager, Bureau of Public Construction, recommended that the Board accept the low bid of Rieth-Riley Construction Company, Inc., P.O. Box 1775, South Bend, Indiana, In the amount of $72,746.50. It was noted that bids for this project were opened by the Board on June 10, 1986. Mr. Leszczynski further advised that in accordance with the award of this bid, a Contract in said amount was being submitted for Board approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the above bid was awarded and the Contract approved, and the appropriate insurance, Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond were accepted for filing. APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES Ms. Katherine Barnard, Director, Department of Code Enforcement, requested permission to advertise for the sale of approximately nineteen (19) abandoned vehicles, which are being stored at Steve & Gene's Auto & Truck Salvage and Repair, 3109 South Gertrude Street, South Bend, Indiana.
