REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 8, 1986 <br />sale. Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by <br />Mr. Vance and carried, the following Resolution declaring the <br />units obsolete and no longer needed by the Department was adopted <br />and the Clerk instructed to advertise the sale of these units <br />should it be determined that no other City Department has use for <br />them: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6-1986 <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works <br />that the following equipment is no longer needed by the Fire <br />Department of the City of South Bend: <br />ITEM MODEL NO. VALUE ' <br />Two (2) Self -Contained <br />Breathing Apparatus E. 9838-22 $250.00 ea. <br />WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-1-11-6 permits the disposal of <br />personal property no longer needed or obsolete. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works <br />of the City of South Bend that the above equipment is hereby <br />declared to be obsolete and no longer needed by the City of South <br />Bend. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fire Department of the City <br />of South Bend be authorized to dispose of said equipment pursuant <br />to statute and to remove same from the City Inventory. <br />DATED this 8th day of April, 1186, <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/John E. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADDENDUM <br />The following Community Development Addendum was presented to the <br />Board for approval: <br />ADDENDUM II <br />NORTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL INC. <br />NORTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER ACTIVITY <br />Addendum II indicates that this activity shall commence on <br />January 1, 1985 and shall continue to and include June 30, <br />1986. It additionally indicates a change in the cost <br />categories by the addition of maintenance as an eligible <br />cost. Ms. Betsy Harriman of the Community Development <br />Department advised that maintenance will include the <br />repairing of a chimney that is dangerous. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the Addendum was approved and executed. <br />APPROVE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - PAINTING OF TWO (2) CITY PARKING <br />GARAGES <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that in accordance with the bid awarded <br />on February 4, 1986 to Morrical Painting Corporation, 3300 West <br />Sample Street, Suite 400, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of <br />$34,186.00 for the above referred to project, a Contract in said <br />
