2L <br />REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 27, 1987 <br />neighbors frequently park in front of the Krol residence. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the above request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division for <br />review and recommendation. <br />APPROVE REQUEST <br />PARADE - NOVEMB <br />21 <br />CITY ASSOCIATES TO CONDUCT HOLIDAY <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and <br />bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to <br />the Board on October 13, 1987 and recommend approval. Therefore, <br />upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request <br />approved. <br />APPROVE REQUEST OF SOUTH BE'. <br />ON <br />SOLICITATIONS - NOVEMBER 4-11, 1987 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the various City departments and <br />bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to <br />the Board on October 13, 1987 and recommend approval. It was <br />noted that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting has advised that no <br />solicitations are to take place in the street. Upon a motion <br />made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, <br />the recommendations were accepted and the request approved. <br />SINFONICA TO CONDUCT <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - SECONDHAND DEALER <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following one (1) secondhand <br />dealers license application has been received: <br />NAME: U.S. RENTALS, INC. <br />BY: Garrette S. Dylewski <br />ADDRESS: 1628 South Michigan Street <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Unknown <br />Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations <br />have been received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire <br />Department on the above application. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the license <br />application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's <br />office for issuance of a license. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the following eight (8) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP TOW -AWAY - 1630 N. Huey. <br />(Vernel Deadmond is an amputee). <br />2. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP TOW -AWAY - 609 E. Indiana. <br />(Tim Ottbridge). <br />3. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP TOW -AWAY - 3029 Longley. <br />(Frieda Herzer. Has heart disease & congestive <br />heart failure). <br />4. REMOVAL OF OPEN PARKING, REVISED TO NO PARKING - <br />300 LaMonte Terrace. (Seasonal Signs). <br />5. REMOVAL OF 2 HOUR PARKING, 6A-6P, REVISED TO NO <br />PARKING - 500 North Michigan. (Seasonal Signs). <br />6. REMOVAL OF 30 MINUTE PARKING, REVISED TO OPEN PARKING - <br />124 W. Tutt (Southern Hotel). (Hotel Closed). <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
