2L REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 27, 1987 neighbors frequently park in front of the Krol residence. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division for review and recommendation. APPROVE REQUEST PARADE - NOVEMB 21 CITY ASSOCIATES TO CONDUCT HOLIDAY Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the Board on October 13, 1987 and recommend approval. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request approved. APPROVE REQUEST OF SOUTH BE'. ON SOLICITATIONS - NOVEMBER 4-11, 1987 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the various City departments and bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the Board on October 13, 1987 and recommend approval. It was noted that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting has advised that no solicitations are to take place in the street. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the recommendations were accepted and the request approved. SINFONICA TO CONDUCT APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - SECONDHAND DEALER Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following one (1) secondhand dealers license application has been received: NAME: U.S. RENTALS, INC. BY: Garrette S. Dylewski ADDRESS: 1628 South Michigan Street FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Unknown Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire Department on the above application. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of a license. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the following eight (8) traffic control devices were approved: 1. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP TOW -AWAY - 1630 N. Huey. (Vernel Deadmond is an amputee). 2. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP TOW -AWAY - 609 E. Indiana. (Tim Ottbridge). 3. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP TOW -AWAY - 3029 Longley. (Frieda Herzer. Has heart disease & congestive heart failure). 4. REMOVAL OF OPEN PARKING, REVISED TO NO PARKING - 300 LaMonte Terrace. (Seasonal Signs). 5. REMOVAL OF 2 HOUR PARKING, 6A-6P, REVISED TO NO PARKING - 500 North Michigan. (Seasonal Signs). 6. REMOVAL OF 30 MINUTE PARKING, REVISED TO OPEN PARKING - 124 W.
