3 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 7, 1987 <br />In response to questions from the news media, Mr. Vance stated <br />that the assistance provided by Gogol and Associates in the past <br />has been of great benefit to the City and that Deputy Mayor Craig <br />Hartzer would have more specific information regarding the <br />services provided. <br />Upon a motion <br />made by Mrs. <br />DeClercq, <br />seconded by <br />Mr. <br />Vance and <br />carried, the <br />agreement as <br />submitted <br />was approved <br />and <br />executed. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 (FINAL) AND PROJECT COMPLETION <br />AFFIDAVIT - SYCAMORE -LA SALLE WALKWAY PROJECT <br />Mr. Vance advised that L.L. Geans & Sons, Inc., 1721 North Home <br />Street, Mishawaka, Indiana, has submitted Change Order No. 1 <br />(Final) indicating that the Contract amount for the above <br />referred to Project be decreased by $6,437.52 for a new Contract <br />sum including this Change Order in the amount of $133,378.99. <br />Additionally submitted was the Project Completion Affidavit <br />indicating this new final cost. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Vance, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, Change Order No. 1 <br />(Final) and the Project Completion Affidavit were approved <br />subject to the filing of the appropriate three-year Maintenance <br />Bond. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - GASOLINE AND <br />FUEL OIL <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Phil St. Clair, Director, Division <br />of Equipment Services, requested that the Board advertise for the <br />receipt of bids for 100% of the City's needs for gasoline and <br />fuel oil in the amounts as follows: <br />350,000 gallons (more or less) Regular gasoline <br />(approximately 300,000 gallons to one location <br />in bulk transport, balance by tank truck delivery). <br />650,000 gallons Unleaded gasoline. <br />- 260,000 gallons Diesel Fuel #1 and Diesel Fuel #2 <br />(approximately 50% for heating purposes and 50% for <br />Diesel fuel). <br />- 200,000 gallons No. 4 Fuel Oil. <br />- Up to 100,000 gallons Gasohol. <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance <br />and carried, the above request was approved. <br />APPROVE HOUSE MOVES FROM 4801 SELKIRK AND 1513 PERTHWAY <br />Mr. Vance stated that Mr. Jack Mathews, Building Commissioner, <br />has informed the Board that Mr. Timothy J. Lykowski, President, <br />Lykowski Construction, Inc., 21707 West Ireland Road, South Bend, <br />Indiana, has requested permission to move the following houses: <br />FROM TO <br />4801 Selkirk Lot AA of Wideners Minor <br />Plat <br />1513 Perthway Temporary Site on Widener <br />Lane (east from 722 Widener) <br />until that permanent site has <br />been subdivided. <br />Mr. Mathews further advised that the route which will be utilized <br />for these house moves has been reviewed by the City Engineer's <br />Office and approved, utility companies have been contacted and <br />their requirements satisfied, and information concerning how the <br />
