REGULAR MEETING APRIL 28. 1987 Mr. Vance seconded the motion, it carried and the following Resolution No. 11-1987 was adopted and the Clerk instructed to forward this recommendation and appropriate Resolution to the Common Council for approval: RESOLUTION NO. 11-1987 WHEREAS, Scrap Metal/Junk Dealers/Transfer Station license applications for the year 1987 have been received by the Board of Public Works; and WHEREAS, inspections of the properties have been completed by the Department of Code Enforcement and the Fire Prevention Bureau as required by Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 4-51 of the Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Department of Code Enforcement and the Fire Prevention Bureau have found that such premises are fit and proper for the maintenance and operation of such businesses; and WHEREAS, Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 4-51 of the Municipal Code requires adopting of a Resolution of the Board of Public Works recommending the approval of the license applications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the license applications for the following be recommended favorably based upon the satisfactory review of the properties by the Department of Code Enforcement and the Fire Prevention Bureau: South Bend Scrap and Processing Div. 3113 S. Gertrude St. South Bend Scrap and Processing Div. 1305 Prairie Ave. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be submitted to the Common Council for its consideration and adoption of an appropriate Resolution. Parmerlee, Clerk APPROVE REQUEST OF CHET WAGGONER LITTLE LEAGUE TO CONDUCT ANNUAL OPENING DAY PARADE - MAY 16, 1987 Mr..Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and Police Department Traffic Division have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the Board on April 14, 1987 and recommend approval. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request approved. APPRMIR PR The bureau of Trattic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division have advised the Board that they have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the Board on April 21, 1987 and recommend approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request approved.
