101 REGULAR MEETING APRIL 7, 1987 WHEREAS, the contract mentioned above provided for the payment to Edward Rose of Indiana a sum equal to the pro rata share of the costs of the construction of the sewer subject to such reasonable rules and regulations as the Board may provide. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the fee for con- nection into said sewer will be a sum equal to their pro rata share according to the following schedule. (1) $0.07/sq. ft. shall be paid to Edward Rose of Indiana for each square foot as determined by multiplying the frontage on Inwood Road of the property benefiting from said sewer by the depth of the property, up to a maximum of 150 feet in depth; plus (2) $0.03/sq. ft. shall be paid to Edward Rose of Indiana for all remaining property benefiting by said sewer within 500 feet of the sewer. (3) $1,500.00 shall be paid to Edward Rose of Indiana for each forced main connected into sewer, from beyond 500 feet (limit 3). Dated this 7th day of April, 1987. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS s/John E. Parmerlee, Clerk APPROVE PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - STATE THEATRE RE -ROOFING AND MISCELLANEOUS REPAIRS PROJECT Mr. Kenneth P. Herceg, Ken Herceg & Associates, Inc., 425 North Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana, and Slatile Roofing and Sheet Metal, have submitted a Project Completion Affidavit for the above referred to project indicating a final cost of $72,399.50. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the Project Completion Affidavit was approved and executed. APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq, Director, Department of Code Enforcement, requested permission to advertise for the sale of approximately twenty (20) abandoned vehicles, which are being stored at Steve & Gene's Auto & Truck Salvage and Repair, 3109 South Gertrude Street, South Bend, Indiana. It was noted that all vehicles have been stored more than fifteen (15) days, identification checks had been run for auto theft and the owners and lienholders notified. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the above request was approved and a date of April 21, 1987, was established for the receiving and opening of sealed bids. APPROVE REOUEST OF SOUTH BEND YOUTH SYMPHONY FOR TRAFFIC ASSISTANCE FOR YOUTH CONCERTS AT MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM - APRIL 30, 1987 & MAY 1, 1987 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate departments have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the Board on February 24, 1987 and recommend approval.
