100 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 7, 1987 <br />not necessary to the public use and are not set aside by State <br />and City laws for public purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works now wishes to take the <br />necessary action to make it possible for the Board, in the <br />future, to sell said parcels of real estate pursuant to State <br />Statutes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />That the parcels of real estate owned by <br />the City contained in the following list <br />are not necessary to the public use and <br />are not set aside by State or City laws <br />for public purposes: <br />ADDRESS: DEED NO. <br />410 E. South 1213 <br />925 W. Oak 743 <br />927 W. Oak 998 <br />ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 1987. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/John E. Leszczynski <br />s/Patricia E. DeClercq <br />s/Michael L. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />DENIAL OF REQUESTS TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTIES• <br />- 402 EAST PARIS STREET <br />- 510 EAST KEASEY STREET <br />- 514 EAST KEASEY STREET <br />- 614 SOUTH COLUMBIA STREET <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that requests to purchase the above <br />referred to City -owned properties have been received and referred <br />to the necessary bureaus and departments for review and <br />recommendation. In each instance, it is the recommendation of <br />the Department of Economic Development that these properties be <br />retained and not offered for sale at this time. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by <br />Mrs. DeClercq and carried, requests to purchase the above <br />referred to properties as submitted were denied. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 9-1987 - ESTABLISHING FEES FOR CONNECTION <br />INTO SEWER - EDWARD ROSE OF INDIANA <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that Resolution No. 9-1987 sets fees for <br />connection into a sewer which was constructed by Edward Rose of <br />Indiana. It was noted that connection fees will be payable to <br />Edward Rose of Indiana. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. <br />DeClercq and carried, the following Resolution No. 9-1987 was <br />adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9-1987 <br />WHEREAS, Edward Rose of Indiana did construct a sanitary <br />sewer along Inwood Road in a contract dated February 19, 1985 <br />with the City of south Bend. <br />1 <br />1 <br />WHEREAS, the cost of said sewer was paid for jointly by <br />the City of South Bend and Edward Rose of Indiana. <br />
