REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 7, 1987 <br />WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-1-11-6 permits the sale of personal <br />property no longer needed or obsolete. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works <br />of the City of South Bend that the six (6) vehicles shown on the <br />attachment to this Resolution are obsolete and not needed by the <br />City of South Bend. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said vehicles be disposed <br />of and removed from the City Vehicle Inventory. <br />DATED this 7th day of April, 1987. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/John E. Hurley, <br />requested permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for <br />approximately six (6) new unmarked vehicles for the South Bend <br />Police Department Detective Bureau. Chief Hurley further advised <br />that all vehicles must be new, no rentals or demonstrators will <br />be accepted and all units shall be front wheel driven American <br />made automobiles. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, <br />seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the request as submitted <br />was approved. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 8-1987 - SALE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 410 <br />EAST SOUTH STREET, 925 WEST OAK STREET AND 927 WEST OAK STREET <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the following Resolution No. 8-1987 for the sale of <br />City -owned properties was adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8-1987 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, has compiled a current detailed inventory of all <br />real property owned by the City of South Bend; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has reviewed said <br />inventory of real property and it finds that certain of the <br />parcels of real estate now owned by the City of South Bend are <br />
