REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 11, 1988 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the following one (1) traffic control device was <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL, REMOVAL OF STOP <br />SIGN - Ireland & High. (Actuation of installed <br />traffic signal) . <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of sixty -:five (65) properties cleaned was submitted. Upon <br />a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and <br />carried, the report as submitted was filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, Certificates of Insurance from the following were <br />accepted and filed: <br />1. Ritschard Bros., Inc. <br />1204 West Sample Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />2. Ziolkowski Construction, Inc. <br />1005 South Lafayette Blvd., <br />P.O. Box 1106 <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />APPROVE EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Mel Humphrey, Engineering <br />Department, recommends that Excavation Bonds for the following be_ <br />approved: <br />- Ritschard Brothers, Inc. Eff. 7/7/88 <br />- Excavating Engineers, Inc. Eff. 7/11/88 <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by <br />Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the recommendation was accepted and <br />the bonds approved. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program, submitted a list containing sixty-three (63) <br />claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Chief Deputy <br />Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim Docket No. 10552 <br />through Claim Docket No. 10823 and recommended approval. Upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and <br />carried, the claims were approved and the reports as submitted <br />were filed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:54 a.m. <br />Joy^ E.
