<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys

<br />REQUEST OF POTAWATOMI ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY, INC. TO CHANGE WALL
<br />STREET TO ONE-WAY TRAFFIC IN CONJUNCTION WITH ZOOFEST - JUNE 4

<br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Lorraine Falda, Operations Manager,
<br />Potawatomi Zoological Society, Inc. 500 South Greenlawn, P.O. Box
<br />1764, South Bend, Indiana, advised that the Society will sponsor
<br />Zoofest, June 4-5, 1988 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
<br />As in previous years, the Society is requesting that Wall Street
<br />(the zoo drive) between Greenlawn and Ironwood be designated a
<br />one-way street on both days of the event. Therefore, upon a
<br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and
<br />carried, the request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and
<br />Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division for review
<br />and recommendation.
<br />REQUEST OF CHAUFFERS, TEAMSTERS AND HELPERS LOCAL UNION NO. 364,
<br />TO CONDUCT LUNCHEON COOKOUT ON CITY -OWNED PROPERTY - MAY 27, 1988

<br />Mr. Robert R. Warnock, Jr., President, Chauffers, Teamsters and
<br />Helpers Local Union No. 364, requested permission to conduct a
<br />luncheon cookout on city property located at 1916 South Main
<br />Street on Friday, May 27, 1988 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys
<br />and carried, the request was referred to the appropriate City
<br />departments for review and recommendation.
<br />REQUEST OF OUR REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH FOR NO PARKING
<br />DESIGNATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH TAILGATE SALE - JUNE 3-4, 1988 -

<br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Wilma L. Behnke, Co -Chairman, 19409
<br />Edinburgh Drive, South Bend, Indiana, on behalf of Our Redeemer
<br />Lutheran Church, 805 South 29th Street, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />requested that no parking signs be placed on the street in front
<br />of the church as well as the side streets of the parking lot in
<br />conjunction with the church Tailgate Sale on June 3-4, 1988. The
<br />streets around the church and parking lot to be designated no
<br />parking are Wall Street, 28th Street and 29th Street. Upon a
<br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and
<br />carried, the request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and
<br />Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division for review
<br />and recommendation.

<br />BEND TO CONDUCT
<br />NHS BIKE RIDE - JUNE 12, 1988 - REFERRED
<br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Anne Mannix, Executive Director,
<br />Neighborhood Housing Services, Northeast Office, P.O. Box 1972,
<br />803 North Notre Dame Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, advised that
<br />NHS is requesting approval to hold the NHS Bike Ride through the
<br />northeast neighborhood and through several other older neighbor-
<br />hoods in the City on Sunday, June 12, 1988 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00
<br />p.m. Submitted with the request were two (2) routes which will
<br />be utilized for this event.

<br />general public become familiar with the northeast and other
<br />South Bend neighborhoods. NHS rehabilitation projects and
