<br />Sunday, August 20, 1989 for a family reunion. Upon a motion made
<br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the
<br />request was referred to the appropriate City departments and
<br />bureaus for review and recommendation.

<br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. John F. Waldron, 1632 Sunnymede
<br />Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to close the
<br />1500-1700 blocks of Sunnymede Avenue, from Twyckenham to
<br />Greenlawn Street, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 2,
<br />1989, for a neighborhood block party. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the request
<br />was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police
<br />Department Traffic Division for review and recommendation.

<br />NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY - JUNE 17, 1989 - REFERRED
<br />Mr. Richard Bailey, 1955 Trent Way, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />submitted to the Board an Application For Use Of And Blocking Of
<br />Access To Public Right -Of -Way For A Party Or Similar Event

<br />for a block party for the East Wayne Street Historic District
<br />from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight on June 24, 1989. Upon a
<br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and
<br />carried, the request was referred to the appropriate City
<br />departments and bureaus for review and recommendation.
<br />APPROVE APPLICATION FOR BIDDER QUALIFICATION
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Application for Bidder
<br />Qualification for Small, Inc., North Liberty, Indiana, has been
<br />reviewed and recommended for approval. Therefore, upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried,
<br />the recommendation was accepted and the application approved.
