4 1 4 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 17, 1990 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the following three (3) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION: One (1) 25' Handicap Parking <br />space <br />LOCATION: 1700 Block Mishawaka Avenue <br />in front of IUSB Administration <br />Building <br />REMARKS: Request of Randy Landsberg, Campus <br />Engineering <br />2. NEW INSTALLATION: Handicap Sign <br />LOCATION: 718 North Allen <br />REMOVAL OF: Handicap Sign <br />LOCATION: 1128 East Bowman <br />REMARKS: Mr. Sam Smith who is moving from <br />1128 East Bowman Street to 718 <br />North Allen requests that a <br />handicap sign be re -installed at <br />his new address. <br />3. NEW INSTALLATION: Handicap Parking Sign <br />LOCATION: 501 East Dayton <br />REMARKS: Request of Mr. John Szymanowski <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEET - CORBY BOULEVARD STORM SEWER PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above <br />referred to project was being presented at this time for <br />execution. Mr. Leszczynski noted that this project entails the <br />installation of a storm sewer from Twyckenham Drive to the <br />river. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. <br />DeClercq and carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was <br />approved and signed. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - NOVEMBER <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Humane Society of St. Joseph <br />County, IN, Inc., has submitted the Monthly Report for the month <br />of November which indicates the types and number of animals <br />handled for the City of South Bend. Mr. Leszczynski made a <br />motion that the report as submitted be accepted and filed. Mrs. <br />DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Two (2) reports from the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating a total of seven (7) City/Miscellaneous properties <br />cleaned from December 4, 1990 to December 7, 1990, and <br />thirty-six (36) other properties cleaned from December 3, 1990 to <br />December 7, 1990, were submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. <br />DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the reports as <br />submitted were filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program, submitted a list containing fifty-one (51) <br />claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Voucher Nos. <br />985-1009 for the Bureau of Wastewater, Voucher Nos. 885-896 for <br />the Bureau of Sewers and Voucher Nos. 61-63 for the Bureau of <br />Solid Waste were submitted for approval. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the <br />claims and vouchers were approved and the reports as submitted <br />were filed. <br />fl <br />
