370 <br />REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 13. 1990 <br />submitted to the Board on October 29, 1990, and approval is <br />recommended. Therefore, Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the <br />request be approved. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE REQUEST OF TRANSPO TO INSTALL BUS SHELTER AT THE N.E. <br />CORNER OF MISHAWAKA AVENUE AND GREENLAWN <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the above referred to request, <br />which was submitted to the Board on September 10, 1990, has been <br />reviewed by the necessary City departments and bureaus and <br />approval is recommended at this time. It is noted that since the <br />shelter will occupy a portion of Park Department property, the <br />Board of Park Commissioners has also approved the request. <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendations <br />be accepted and the request be approved. Mrs. DeClercq seconded <br />the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION: Stop Sign - "T" Intersection <br />LOCATION: Cross Creek and Eagle Point - <br />Spring Hill - Hunter Run Circle - <br />Foxf ire Drive <br />2. NEW INSTALLATION: One (1) twenty-five foot (251) <br />Handicap Parking Space <br />LOCATION: 1226 East Bissel <br />REMARKS: Requested by Mrs. Lois Moore <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, Certificates of Insurance for the following were <br />accepted for filing: <br />1. Zimmerman Industrial Piping <br />1117 North Clay <br />Mishawaka, Indiana 46660-6129 <br />2. O.J. Shoemaker, Inc. <br />1008 Lincolnway East <br />P.O. Box 418 <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Two (2) reports from the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating a total of nineteen (19) City/Miscellaneous properties <br />cleaned from October 23, 1990 to October 25, 1990 and forty (40) <br />other properties cleaned from October 22, 1990 to October 26, <br />1990 were submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, <br />seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the reports as submitted <br />were filed. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, IN., INC. MONTHLY <br />REPORT - OCTOBER <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that submitted to the Board was the <br />Humane Society report for the month of October which indicated <br />the types and number of animals handled for the City of South <br />Bend. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the report as submitted <br />be accepted and filed. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />
