Unless specified in the proposal, all prices quoted herein are subject to acceptance within thirty (30) days and shall be deemed automatically to have been withdrawn if, by the end of that period, no award has been made. BID: Rock Salt 12,000 tons BULK ICE CONTROL ROCK SALT Truck Delivery - Minimum truckload - 21 tons: $29.22/Ton Total: $350,640.00 Terms of payment are net thirty (30) days from shipment. Bulk rock salt will be treated with an anti -caking agent. Rock Salt is mined in the U.S.A. by American labor. International Salt will protect their quoted price on deliveries prior to and including 10/31/91 provided their quote is accepted within sixty (60) days from bid opening date of 11/13/90. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the bids were referred to the Street Department for review and recommendation. REQUEST OF MICHIANA WATERSHED TO CONDUCT 1991 ST. JOSEPH RIVER RUN - MAY 11, 1991 - REFERRED In a letter to the Board, Mrs. Nancy Mah, Administrative Assistant, Michiana Watershed, Inc., St. Joseph County Chapter, P.O. Box 1284, South Bend, Indiana, advised that Michiana Watershed, Inc. requests permission to conduct the 1991 St. Joseph River Run on Saturday, May 11, 1991. The race will begin at Leeper Park and finish at Niles, Michigan as past race participants have shown an interest in extending the race into Michigan. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the request be referred to the appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and recommendation. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried.
