Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion FILING OF SCHEDULES OF FEES - VEHICLE REMOVAL SERVICE LICENSE Mr. John Leisenring, Chief Deputy Controller, advised the Board that the Controller's office has received two (2) applications for Vehicle Removal Service Licenses. Pursuant to Section 4-20.5(c)(2) of the South Bend Municipal Code, the applications must contain a schedule of fees to be filed with the Board of Public Works. Therefore, Mr. Leisenring submitted to the Board the schedule of fees to be charged by City Towing Services, Inc., and Hamilton Body Shop and requested that the Board accept these schedules for filing. Board Attorney Jenny Pitts Manier noted that City Towing Services, Inc., equipment and business, is in the process of being sold by its present owner with whom the City has had dealings with in the past. It is the proposed new owner that is applying for the license. She further noted that pursuant to ordinance requirements the schedule of fees must be filed with the Board as part of the license application process. Ms. Manier indicated that neither of the applicants have completed the application process but the filing of the fees is one part of the process. She also advised that at this time there are no licensed vehicle removal towing services. Therefore, Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the schedules of fees as submitted be accepted for filing. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried and the following schedules of fees were accepted for filing: HAMILTON BODY SHOP, INC. 917 South Lafayette Boulevard South Bend, Indiana Private Lot Towing - South Bend - Charges: Normal Tow: $40.00 Extra +: $15.00 if transmission unhooked $25.00 if dollies are used $25.00 if vehicle has to be winched out Storage: $ 7.00 per day starting the day the vehicle comes in thru day it leaves lot CITY TOWING SERVICES, INC. 1401 South Michigan Street South Bend, Indiana 46613 Schedule of Fees: Towing: $60.00 Use of Dollies: $18.00 Auto Door unlocking: $15.00 Storage (1 day minimum) $10.00 per day Disconnect trans linkage: $12.00 minimum $20.00 maximum Booting: $60.00 Police Notification: $15.00 (24 hour rule) 1 1
