REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 12, 1991 <br />1 <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, has no use for said <br />property, and it being the general policy of the City of South <br />Bend that all property which it does not use should remain on the <br />tax rolls of the City of South Bend; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through its <br />Board of Public Works, expressly and unequivocally renounces <br />acceptance of this property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Petition recorded <br />and transfer authorized on July 23, 1991, 1n-the St. Joseph <br />Probate Court, in Estate No. 71J01-9102-ES-00103, are not <br />Accepted by the City of South Bend, Indiana, and the City <br />acknowledges no ownership interest in the following described <br />-property, situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana: <br />A lot or parcel of land thirty-seven and one-half <br />(37.5) feet in width, North and South, taken off <br />and from the entire length of the North side of <br />Lot Numbered Nineteen (19) as shown on the <br />recorded plat of A.G. PARMERLEE, Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />APPROVE AGREEMENTS FOR USE OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR FOOT RACES <br />AND SIMILAR EVENTS: <br />WALK FOR HOSPICE - OCTOBER 13, 1991 <br />1991 CROP WALK - SEPTEMBER 29, 1991 <br />It is noted that pursuant to Resolution No. 9-1985, establishing <br />policies and fees for foot races and similar events, adopted by <br />the Board of Public Works on March 4,1985, sponsors of the <br />following events have fulfilled Resolution requirements and <br />Agreements with the sponsors are being presented to the Board at <br />this time: <br />Walk for Hospice <br />1991 CROP Walk <br />October 13, 1991 <br />September 29, 1991 <br />It was noted that on June 10, 1991, the Board of Public Works <br />approved the dates for these events subject to the sponsors <br />meeting all Resolution requirements. <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />,and carried, Agreements with the above referred to sponsors as <br />submitted were approved and executed. <br />APPROVE WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS <br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Megan Wright, Pretreatment <br />Coordinator, Division of Environmental Services, requested that <br />
