<br />Jenny Pitts Manier that Board of Public Works approval would be
<br />required and not Redevelopment Commission approval.
<br />Therefore, Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the Proposal be
<br />approved and executed. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which
<br />carried.
<br />APPROVE NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION - CONTRACT II, DIVISION
<br />A - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
<br />Mr. Robert Toppel, Construction Coordinator, submitted to the
<br />Board a Substantial Completion Certificate for Contract II,
<br />Division A of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements
<br />Project. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the Notice of
<br />Substantial Completion be approved and executed. Mrs. DeClercq
<br />seconded the motion which carried.
<br />REQUESTS REFERRED:
<br />- TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 1614 SCOTT STREET
<br />In a letter to the Board, Todd and Candy Manges, 513 West
<br />Calvert Street, South Bend, Indiana, advised that they
<br />recently purchased a house at 1618 Scott Street and are
<br />interested in purchasing the City -owned lot Next door to the
<br />house at 1614 Scott Street.
<br />TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 705 WENGER
<br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Rosa Perkins, 725 East Wenger
<br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, advised that she and her husband
<br />are interested in purchasing the City -owned lot at 705 Wenger
<br />Street which her husband has maintained for more than
<br />twenty-five (25) years.
<br />- TO CLOSE WILBER STREET, FROM MARQUETTE TO PORTAGE, FOR
<br />NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY - JULY 4, 1991
<br />Ms. Susan Farrell, 1842 Wilber Street, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />submitted to the Board an Application for Use of and Blocking
<br />of Access to Public Right -of -Way for a Party or Similar
<br />Event, requesting that the 1800 block of Wilber, from
<br />Marquette and Wilber to Portage and Wilber, be closed from
<br />2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on July 4, 1991 for a neighborhood
<br />block party.
