REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 8, 1991 <br />motion that the Amendment as submitted be approved. Mrs. <br />DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND SCHEDULE - NCR <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that NCR Corporation, 1920 East McKinley <br />Avenue, Mishawaka, Indiana, submitted a Certificate of Acceptance <br />and Schedule for the City of South Bend CAD and Records/Reporting <br />system. The Schedule indicates a final payment due of $60,995.00 <br />Plus a finance charge of $5,196.80 for a total due of <br />$66,191.80. Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the Certificate of <br />Acceptance and Schedule as submitted be approved and executed. <br />Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. <br />AWARD BIDS - DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES - 3113 RIVERSIDE <br />DRIVEā€¢ <br />- LANDSCAPING - EAST AND WEST SIDES OF RIVERSIDE nRTVP <br />PAVEMENT AND CURB WORK - INCLUDES TWO <br />WIDENING OF SOME EXISTING PAVEMENT <br />In 1 t <br />2) PARKING LOTS AND <br />a e ter to the Board, Mr. John J. Geans & Sons, Inc. $ 45,560.00 <br />Bid Package #3 <br />Pro Care Services, Inc. $ 41,904.00 <br />Alternate #1 - Accepted .$ 2,704.00 <br />$ 44,608.00 <br />TOTAL PROJECT: $158,845.00 <br />It is noted that bids for these projects were opened by the Board <br />on April 1, 1991. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the <br />recommendations be accepted and the bids be awarded as outlined <br />above. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. <br />AWARD BID - TWO (2) 10 000 GALLON UNDERGROUND MOTOR FUEL STORAGE <br />TANKS REMOVAL OF OLD TANKS AND DISPENSING EQUIPMENT <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Robert Kruszynski, Manager, <br />Department of Sanitation, advised that he reviewed the bids <br />received on April 1, 1991 for the above referred to project and <br />recommends the acceptance of the bid of Petroleum Equipment, <br />Inc., 12875 McKinley Highway, Mishawaka, Indiana, in the amount <br />of $68,981.49. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the <br />recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded. Mrs. DeClercq <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />AWARD BID - SIX (6) WATERTIGHT 15 YARD ROLL OFF CONTAINERS AND <br />FOUR (4) FORTY (40) YARD OPEN TOP ROLL OFF CONTAINERS <br />Mr. Robert Kruszynski, Manager, Department of Sanitation, advised <br />the Board that he has reviewed the bid received on April 1, 1991 <br />for the above referred to roll off containers and at this time <br />recommends that the Board award the bid of Best Equipment <br />Company, Inc., 2804 North Catherwood Avenue, Indianapolis, <br />Indiana in the amount of $32,680.00. Ms. Humphreys made a motion <br />that the recommendation be accepted and the bids be awarded. <br />Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. <br />
