REGULAR MEETING APRIL 8, 1991 motion that the Amendment as submitted be approved. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND SCHEDULE - NCR Mr. Leszczynski advised that NCR Corporation, 1920 East McKinley Avenue, Mishawaka, Indiana, submitted a Certificate of Acceptance and Schedule for the City of South Bend CAD and Records/Reporting system. The Schedule indicates a final payment due of $60,995.00 Plus a finance charge of $5,196.80 for a total due of $66,191.80. Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the Certificate of Acceptance and Schedule as submitted be approved and executed. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. AWARD BIDS - DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES - 3113 RIVERSIDE DRIVE• - LANDSCAPING - EAST AND WEST SIDES OF RIVERSIDE nRTVP PAVEMENT AND CURB WORK - INCLUDES TWO WIDENING OF SOME EXISTING PAVEMENT In 1 t 2) PARKING LOTS AND a e ter to the Board, Mr. John J. Dillon, Director, Environmental Services, recommended the following bid awards in reference the above referred to projects: Bid Packa e #1 Rieth Riley Construction Company $ 60,542.00 Alternate #1 - Accepted $ 8,135.00 $ 68,677.00 Bid Package #2 L.L. Geans & Sons, Inc. $ 45,560.00 Bid Package #3 Pro Care Services, Inc. $ 41,904.00 Alternate #1 - Accepted .$ 2,704.00 $ 44,608.00 TOTAL PROJECT: $158,845.00 It is noted that bids for these projects were opened by the Board on April 1, 1991. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendations be accepted and the bids be awarded as outlined above. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. AWARD BID - TWO (2) 10 000 GALLON UNDERGROUND MOTOR FUEL STORAGE TANKS REMOVAL OF OLD TANKS AND DISPENSING EQUIPMENT In a letter to the Board, Mr. Robert Kruszynski, Manager, Department of Sanitation, advised that he reviewed the bids received on April 1, 1991 for the above referred to project and recommends the acceptance of the bid of Petroleum Equipment, Inc., 12875 McKinley Highway, Mishawaka, Indiana, in the amount of $68,981.49. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. AWARD BID - SIX (6) WATERTIGHT 15 YARD ROLL OFF CONTAINERS AND FOUR (4) FORTY (40) YARD OPEN TOP ROLL OFF CONTAINERS Mr. Robert Kruszynski, Manager, Department of Sanitation, advised the Board that he has reviewed the bid received on April 1, 1991 for the above referred to roll off containers and at this time recommends that the Board award the bid of Best Equipment Company, Inc., 2804 North Catherwood Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana in the amount of $32,680.00. Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bids be awarded. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried.
