FINANCING AGREEMENTS/ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENTS <br />Mr. Leisenring noted that the first Financing Agreement <br />indicates an amount to be financed of $829.00 for a <br />monthly payment of $18.00. This is for Other IBM Charges <br />EMO @ $734.00 and PC software @ $95.00. <br />The second Financing Agreement indicates that the amount <br />to be financed is $39,868.89 for a payment amount of <br />$881.00. This is for Other IBM Charges and Services @ <br />$29,988.89 and Emulation Kits @ $10,880.00. <br />Ms. Humphreys made a motion that these Financing <br />Agreements/Addendum to Agreements be approved and executed. Mrs. <br />DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS <br />Ms. Megan Wright, Pretreatment Coordinator, Environmental <br />Services, submitted to the Board and recommended that the Board <br />approve Wastewater Discharge Permits for the following: <br />1. Van Waters & Rogers <br />59865 Market Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />2. Swank Uniform Rental <br />1101 King Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />(Permit No. SB031) <br />46614 <br />(Permit No. SB032) <br />46616 <br />Ms. Wright noted that these are new permits. <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the permits as <br />submitted be approved and executed. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />APPROVE SELECTION OF DESIGN PROPOSAL - MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM/ <br />PALAIS ROYALE <br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Ann Kolata, Deputy Executive <br />Director, Department of Economic Development, advised that on <br />March 22, 1991, the Redevelopment Commission heard a report from <br />James Wyllie, President of the Board of Directors of South Bend <br />Entertainment District, regarding selection of an architect for <br />the renovation of the Morris Civic Auditorium and Palais Royale. <br />The Entertainment District Board recommended accepting the <br />Proposal from the firm of SMSQ of Northfield, Minnesota. The <br />Redevelopment Commission accepted this recommendation and <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 31-1990, recommends that the Board of <br />Public Works accept the Proposal of Sovik Mathre Sathrum Quanbeck <br />Schlink Edwins Architects as the architect for this project. <br />Ms. Kolata was present and reiterated that it is requested that <br />the Board accept the Proposal of SMSQ as the successful Proposer <br />for architect and design services for the Morris Civic Auditorium <br />and Palais Royale Project. Ms. Kolata noted that this is one (1) <br />of fourteen (14) Proposals received. The Proposals were narrowed <br />down to five (5) which were selected and interviewed. Ms. Kolata <br />further noted that the local firm of BKLC will be involved in <br />this project. <br />Therefore, Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the Board approve the <br />selection of the Proposal of SMSQ for the above referred to <br />project. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE IRREVOCABLE STANDBY LETTER OF CREDIT - CROSS CREEK <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., <br />Engineering Aide, Bureau of Design and Administration, submitted <br />to the Board and requested that the Board accept Irrevocable <br />Standby Letter of Credit #5-8846, Cross Creek, Section III, Part <br />1 <br />1 <br />
