REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 7. 1992 <br />Department and South Bend Community School Corporation have <br />approved. <br />Extra barricades at Twyckenham, Wall, Greenlawn and Kid's <br />Kingdom. <br />Ms. Dobski noted that all filming will be done inside of John <br />Adams High School. <br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that this request be approved, <br />subject to favorable recommendations being received from the <br />appropriate City departments and bureaus concerning this <br />request. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />SE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - SALE OF <br />Mrs. Kathy Dempsey, Director, Department of Code Enforcement, <br />requested permission to advertise for the sale of approximately <br />fifteen (15) abandoned vehicles, which are being stored at Super <br />Auto Salvage Corporation, 3300 South Main Street, South Bend, <br />Indiana. It was noted that all vehicles have been stored more <br />than fifteen (15) days, identification checks had been run for <br />auto theft and the owners and lienholders notified. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, the above request was approved and a date of <br />December 21, 1992, was established for the receiving and opening <br />of sealed bids. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS <br />INSPECTION OF PUMP NO. 3 AND APPURTENANCES - WASTEWATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT <br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, <br />Division of Engineering, on behalf of the Division of <br />Environmental Services, requested that the Board advertise for <br />the receipt of bids for the Inspection of Pump No. 3 and <br />Appurtenances at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Mr. Littrell <br />noted that this project will provide for the inspection and <br />cleaning of the main raw sewage pump No. 3. Prices are also <br />being solicited for replacement of the pump if inspection should <br />happen to show that it is necessary to do so. Therefore, Mr. <br />Caldwell made a motion that the request be approved. Chlebowski, Interim <br />Superintendent, Division of Equipment Services, requested, on <br />behalf of the Police Department, that the Board advertise for the <br />receipt of bids for twenty-four (24), more or less, 1993 police <br />patrol automobiles and two (2) full size vans., Mr. Caldwell made <br />a motion that the request be approved.
