Upon a motion made by Mr.
Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and carried, the Contract
was approved and the appropriate Insurance, Performance Bond and
Labor and Materials Payment Bond as submitted were filed.
ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 45-1992 - DISPOSAL OF SERVICE REVOLVER
In a letter to the Board, Police Chief Ronald G. Marciniak
advised that Sergeant Richard Kazmierczak has retired; in good
standing, from the South Bend Police Department, effective
November 18, 1992, after thirty-four (34) years of service. In
keeping with Section 2-124 of the South Bend Municipal Code,
Chief Marciniak requested that the Board declare Sergeant
Kazmierczak's service revolver as surplus property and no longer
useful to the City.
