346 REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 5, 1992 WHEREAS, the Housing Development Corporation of St. Joseph County, Indiana (hereinafter "HDC"), an Indiana not -for -profit corporation meeting the requirements of I.C. 36-1-11-1(a)(7), desires to obtain ownership of the above -described real estate for the development of affordable, low-income housing; and WHEREAS, the use of said property for such purposes will be beneficial to the community, and the City is willing to transfer said property to HDC for the development of affordable, low-income housing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: 1)The City shall transfer to HDC four (4) parcels of real property more particularly described as follows: Key No. 18-7015-0602 Lot 200 in Wenger and Kreighbaums replat of Wenger's Sixth Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, commonly known as 622 East Broadway Street. Key No. 18-7028-1106 Lot numbered 109 in the'Indiana Avenue Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, commonly known as 306 East Haney Street. Key No. 18-7031-1206 35 feet North Side, 75 feet South End of Lot 98 and 35 feet North Side of 75 feet South End, 8 feet East Side of Lot 97 of Bowmans Place Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, commonly known as 1707 St. Joseph Street. Key No. 18-5091-3211 Lot numbered 299 of Park Place Third Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, commonly known as 1326 Corby Boulevard. 2)Such transfers shall be accomplished by quit -claim deed, executed by the Mayor of the City of South Bend and attested to by the South Bend City Clerk. 3)Such transfers shall be made by the City to HDC in an "as is" condition with no warranties, indemnities or representations made relative to said real property. Parmerlee, Clerk ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 39-1992 - TRANSFER OF ONE (1) PARCEL OF REAI PROPERTY TO CARL G. AND DARLENE EWING Board Attorney and Member Mary H. Mueller advised members of the Board that through the County tax sale the City acquired seventy-five (75) parcels of property for one dollar ($1.00) each. Pursuant to Resolution No. 38-1992, the Board transferred four (4) of those parcels to the Housing Development Corporation. Because the County conveyed one (1) parcel of property at 522 Dayton Street to the City in error, Resolution No. 39-1992 has been prepared and submitted to the Board giving back the property 1 1
