" 1 <br />REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 3, 1992 <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO INSTALL SIGN AT 1326 SOUTH MICHIGAN STREET <br />(ANIMAL FEED AND GARDEN CENTER) <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable <br />recommendations from the City departments and bureaus who have <br />reviewed the above referred to request which was submitted to the <br />Board on January 13, 1992. <br />Board Attorney Mary H. Mueller advised that the proposed sign <br />will encroach onto the public right-of-way by eight feet (81) and <br />that an Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement will be <br />required. <br />Therefore, Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that this request be <br />approved subject to the applicant providing the required signed <br />Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement. Mr. Caldwell <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski seconded by Mr. Caldwell <br />and carried, the following one (1) traffic control device was <br />approved: <br />1. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by <br />Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above license applications were <br />approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for <br />issuance of licenses. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Engineering Department has <br />recommended that the Bond of Excavation for Walter Collins be <br />released effective February 3, 1992 and that the Bond of <br />Contractor for William C. Blankenship be released effective <br />February 3, 1992. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the <br />recommendations be accepted and the bonds be released. Mr. <br />Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of two (2) <br />lists as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating that twenty-one (21) miscellaneous properties were <br />cleaned by the Department from January 20, 1992 to January 23, <br />
