<br />OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - RE -ROOFING AND INSULATION - FIRE STATION
<br />NO. 8
<br />This was the date set for the opening of sealed Quotations for re-
<br />roofing and insulation of Fire Station No. 8, 2402 West Twyckenham
<br />Drive, South Bend, Indiana. The following Quotations were opened
<br />and read:

<br />Quotation: Base $15,200.00
<br />Alternate G-1 Add $ 6,995.00
<br />Alternate G-2 Add $ 1,495.00
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski
<br />and carried, the Quotation received was referred to the Fire
<br />Department for review and recommendation.
<br />AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS:
<br />- POTAWATOMI ZOO PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS
<br />- BLACKTHORN GOLF COURSE - CLUBHOUSE PARKING LOT
<br />- BRIDGE PAINTING - STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT AREA
<br />- ORGANIC RESOURCES FACILITY - ASPHALT PAVING ADDITION
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Walsh & Kelly, Inc., 24358 State Road
<br />23, South Bend, Indiana, has submitted the Construction Contract
<br />for the Potawatomi Zoo Parking Area Renovation and Expansion
<br />Project. It is noted that the bid of Walsh and Kelly, Inc., in
<br />the arrount of $98,639.03, was awarded by the Board on October 18,
<br />1993.
<br />Additionally, Rieth-Riley Construction Company, Inc., P.O. Box
<br />1775, South Bend, Indiana, has submitted the appropriate
<br />Construction Contract, in the amount of $197,769.58 for the
<br />Blackthorn Golf Course - Clubhouse Parking Lot Project. It is
<br />noted that this bid was awarded on October 18, 1993.
<br />Further, in accordance with the Quotation awarded on October 4,
<br />1993, to Universal Painting, Inc., 1319 South Lafayette Boulevard,
<br />P.O. Box 4141, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $22,492.00
<br />for the Bridge Painting - Studebaker Corridor Redevelopment Area
<br />Project, a Contract in said amount was being submitted for Board
<br />approval.
<br />Finally, Mr. Leszczynski noted that Walsh & Kelly, Inc., 24358
<br />State Road 23, South Bend, Indiana, has submitted the Construction
<br />Contract, in the amount of $76,797.00, for the asphalt paving
<br />addition at the Organic Resources Facility. The bid of Walsh and
<br />Kelly was awarded by the Board on October 18, 1993 for this
<br />project.
