REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 2. 1993 <br />Ms. Balog inquired if the south lane of Donmoyer could be <br />temporarily blocked as many cars are continuing to go down <br />Donmoyer the wrong way. Calls were made to the Police Department <br />concerning this problem, but no police officer responded. <br />Board Attorney and Member Mary H. Mueller stated that she would <br />like to ask the Engineering Department to look into the <br />possibility of extending the one-way designation as suggested by <br />residents. <br />Mr. Caldwell informed residents that he will have a discussion <br />with Police Chief Ronald G. Marciniak concerning this matter and <br />ask that the Police Department take a look at the area and monitor <br />it with radar guns. Mr. Leszczynski noted that ninety-nine per <br />cent (99%) of the time it is discovered that it is the actual <br />residents of the neighborhood that are doing the speeding. <br />Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the above two (2) <br />traffic control devices concerning Donmoyer be approved and that <br />the Engineering Department be asked to look into the possibility <br />of extending the one-way designation from Woodside to Twyckenham. <br />Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Larry D. Glueckert <br />Approve <br />Eff. <br />8-2-93 <br />- Louis Dean Spaid, d/b/a <br />Dean's Concrete & <br />Landscaping <br />Release <br />Eff. <br />8-2-93 <br />EXCAVATION BONDS <br />- Indiana Earth, Inc. <br />Approve <br />Eff. <br />8-2-93 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell <br />and carried, the above bonds were approved and/or released as <br />indicated above. <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEET -STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT, PHASE IA, <br />CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT 1 (CURB AND SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT/LANDSCAPING <br />- MAIN STREET, STULL STREET AND MICHIGAN STREET <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above <br />referred to project was being presented at this time for <br />execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. <br />Mueller and carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was <br />approved and signed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, Certificates of Insurance for the following were <br />accepted for filing: <br />1.
