Piller, 331 Parkovash, South Bend, <br />Indiana, submitted to the Board an Application For Use Of And <br />Blocking Of Access to Public Right -of -Way For A Party Or Similar <br />Event, requesting that Parkovash, from Lafayette to Iroquois, be <br />closed on Saturday, August 7, 1993, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. <br />for a block party. <br />It is further noted that the other requests, referenced above, <br />were referred to the Board on July 12, 19 and 26, 1993. <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the above outlined <br />requests be approved. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - EQUIPMENT <br />FOR BLACKTHORN GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE <br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl P. Littrell, Director, <br />Division of Engineering, advised that on behalf of the Department <br />of Economic Development, he would ask that the Board advertise for <br />the receipt of bids for Turf Maintenance Equipment at Blackthorn <br />Golf Course. Mr. Littrell noted that the specifications for this <br />equipment have been developed by North American Golf, the golf <br />course consultants. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the <br />request be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />REQUESTS REFERRED: <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell <br />and carried, the following requests were referred to the <br />appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and <br />recommendation: <br />
