REGULAR MEETING JULY 26, 1993 <br />APPROVE HOUSE AND GARAGE MOVE - FROM 809 GREENLAWN TO 1400 FERRELL <br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Donald F. Fozo, Building <br />Commissioner, submitted a request from Mr. Timothy J. Lykowski, <br />President, Lykowski Construction, Inc., 21707 West Ireland Road, <br />South Bend, Indiana, requesting permission to move a house and a <br />garage now located at 809 Greenlawn to 1400 Ferrell. Mr. Fozo <br />stated that all the appropriate departments and bureaus have <br />reviewed this request and have no objection to the proposed move. <br />Additionally, the required Certificate of Insurance, in the amount <br />of $5,000,000.00, naming the City of South Bend as an additional <br />insured has been received and is in order. Therefore, Mr. <br />Leszczynski made a motion that the request be approved. Mrs. <br />Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE REQUEST OF NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LETTER CARRIERS TO <br />CONDUCT INTERSECTION SOLICITATIONS ON BEHALF OF MUSCULAR DYST; <br />ASSOCIATION - AUGUST 1 <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the appropriate City departments <br />and bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request, which was <br />submitted to the Board on July 19, 1993, and approval is <br />recommended. It is noted that solicitations must take place from <br />the sidewalks only and solicitations in the street are not <br />allowed. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the <br />recommendation be accepted and the request be approved. Mr. <br />Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />REQUESTS REFERRED: <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell <br />and carried, the following requests were referred to the necessary <br />City departments and bureaus for review and recommendation: <br />- TO CLOSE 32ND STREET, FROM WALL TO MISHAWAKA AVENUE, FOR BLOCK <br />PARTY - AUGUST 3, 1993 <br />Ms. Phyllis M.
