TO CONDUCT ANNUAL <br />1993 CRIME STOPPERS MOONLIGHT WALK - JUNE 13 1993 <br />- OF OUR LADY OF HUNGARY CHURCH TO CLOSE CHAPIN STREET BETWEEN <br />CALVERT AND BRUCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH CHURCH FESTIVAL - JULY <br />17, 1993 <br />- OF MAURICE MATTHYS LITTLE LEAGUE INC. TO CONDUCT PARADE - <br />MAY 15, 1993 <br />- OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY MEMORIAL SOCIETY TO CLOSE WASHINGTON <br />STREET, FROM MAIN TO LAFAYETTE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH MEMORIAL <br />DAY SERVICES - MAY 31, 1993 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the above referred to requests, which <br />were submitted to the Board on March 15, 1993, April 5, 1993, and <br />April 19, 1993, have been reviewed by various City departments and <br />bureaus and approval is recommended. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski <br />made a motion that these requests be approved. Mrs. Mueller <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />KZQUEST OF HOOSIER HOOPS TO CLOSE THE 100 BLOCK OF WEST WESTERN <br />AVENUE - JULY 2-3, 1993 - WITHDRAWN <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Board has been advised that the <br />request of Mr. Jon R. Hickey, Member of the Committee, Hoosier <br />Hoops, 3 on 3 Classic, to close the 100 block of Western Avenue <br />during the Ethnic Festival on July 2-3, 1993, to conduct the 3 on <br />3 Classic, which was submitted to the Board on April 19, 1993, has <br />been withdrawn at this time. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS ONE (1) <br />TYPE I MEDIUM TO HEAVY DUTY MODULAR AtvrRTTT.nNrV — PT -DV nVinTDTM-L-10- <br />mire Chief Luther Taylor requested that the Board advertise for <br />the receipt of bids for one (1) Type I Medium to Heavy Duty <br />Modular Ambulance. Chief Taylor noted that this unit will be <br />purchased by a Lease Purchase Agreement funded by the Emergency <br />Medical Services Capital Improvement Fund. Mr. Leszczynski made a <br />motion that this request be approved.
