At this time <br />there are no plans for selling food or beverages and they <br />would encourage the downtown restaurants to use the music <br />festival as an opportunity to promote their business. <br />In conclusion, Ms. Fox stated that the sponsors of the <br />Sunburst Weekend, the South Bend Tribune, Memorial Hospital <br />of South Bend and WSBT Stations, are hoping to help promote <br />tourism, by showing off South Bend's beautiful downtown. <br />TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 1118 BURNS <br />Mr. Peter Hauser, 18397 Crownhill Drive, South Bend, Indiana, <br />advised that he recently purchased the property at 1116 North <br />Burns and is interested in purchasing the City -owned vacant <br />lot north of this property at 1118 North Burns. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS FOR ONE (1) <br />27 C.Y. AUTOMATED REFUSE PACKER TRUCK AND FIVE (5) 25 C.Y. REFUSE <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. John J. Dillon, Director, Division <br />of Environmental Services, requested that the Board advertise for <br />the receipt of bids for five (5) 25 yard packers and one (1) <br />automated vehicle for the Bureau of Solid Waste. Mr. Leszczynski <br />made a motion that this request be approved. Mrs. Mueller <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTORS BONDS <br />Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Sr., Division of Engineering, requested <br />that the Board release the Bond of Contractor for Richard R. <br />Ballin, effective May 19, 1993.
