Center City Associates, Inc. <br />122 South Michigan Street <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Lot located at: 105-113 West Jefferson <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and <br />carried, the above license applications were approved and referred <br />to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of licenses. It <br />was noted that the required Proof of Insurance as well as the <br />hours and rates to be charged were attached to the applications. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, a Certificate of Insurance for Geyer Construction and <br />Development Company, P.O. Box 229, Lakeville, Indiana, was <br />accepted for filing,as submitted. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Department of Code Enforcement <br />has submitted two (2) lists containing forty-three (43) City owned <br />and miscellaneous properties which were cleaned by the Department <br />from April 12, 1993 to April 17, 1993. Mr. Leszczynski made a <br />motion that the lists as submitted be accepted for filing. Mrs. <br />Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern Indiana, <br />submitted to the Board a list of claims in the amount of <br />$68,736.40 and recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Kevin <br />Horton, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of <br />$755,266.92 and recommended approval. Mr. Caldwell made a motion <br />that the claims be approved and the reports as submitted be filed. <br />Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR: <br />INQUIRY FROM EDWARD TALLEY REGARDING STATUS OF HIS REQUEST TO <br />PLACE STREET LIGHT POLES IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />Mr. J. Edward Talley, 1081 Riverside Drive Boulevard, South Bend, <br />Indiana, was present and inquired of the Board the status of his <br />request which was submitted to the Board on April 19, 1993, to <br />place one Hollowspun post and one octagonal junior fixture each on <br />the public right-of-way at 1081, 1093 and 1121 Riverside Drive <br />Boulevard. <br />Mr. Talley was advised that this matter was not on the Board's <br />agenda today as the request is still be reviewed by various City <br />departments and bureaus. Mr. Talley informed members of the <br />Board that this issue is heavily symbolic in holding together the <br />historic districts. Mr. Talley informed the Board that a company <br />in Wisconsin has bought the original mold for these light poles. <br />He further noted that there are two (2) varieties of poles that <br />
