Center City Associates, Inc. 122 South Michigan Street South Bend, Indiana 46601 Lot located at: 105-113 West Jefferson Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and carried, the above license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of licenses. It was noted that the required Proof of Insurance as well as the hours and rates to be charged were attached to the applications. FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and carried, a Certificate of Insurance for Geyer Construction and Development Company, P.O. Box 229, Lakeville, Indiana, was accepted for filing,as submitted. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Department of Code Enforcement has submitted two (2) lists containing forty-three (43) City owned and miscellaneous properties which were cleaned by the Department from April 12, 1993 to April 17, 1993. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the lists as submitted be accepted for filing. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CLAIMS Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern Indiana, submitted to the Board a list of claims in the amount of $68,736.40 and recommended approval. Additionally, Mr. Kevin Horton, City Controller, submitted claims in the amount of $755,266.92 and recommended approval. Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the claims be approved and the reports as submitted be filed. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR: INQUIRY FROM EDWARD TALLEY REGARDING STATUS OF HIS REQUEST TO PLACE STREET LIGHT POLES IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY Mr. J. Edward Talley, 1081 Riverside Drive Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana, was present and inquired of the Board the status of his request which was submitted to the Board on April 19, 1993, to place one Hollowspun post and one octagonal junior fixture each on the public right-of-way at 1081, 1093 and 1121 Riverside Drive Boulevard. Mr. Talley was advised that this matter was not on the Board's agenda today as the request is still be reviewed by various City departments and bureaus. Mr. Talley informed members of the Board that this issue is heavily symbolic in holding together the historic districts. Mr. Talley informed the Board that a company in Wisconsin has bought the original mold for these light poles. He further noted that there are two (2) varieties of poles that
