REGULAR MEETING MARCH 29. 1993 increase of $963.60 has been submitted for the signalization project at Logan and Mishawaka Avenue. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the Change Order be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS - MC_CORMICK & COMPANY, INC. - MONARCH TEXTILE RENTAL SERVICE, INC. In a Memorandum to the Board, Ms. Megan Wright, Pretreatment Coordinator, Division of Environmental Services, submitted the following Wastewater Discharge Permits and recommended approval: 1. Monarch Textile Rental Services, Inc. 812 Wilbur Street South Bend, Indiana 46628 2. McCormick & Company, Inc. 3425 West Lathrop Drive South Bend, Indiana 46628 Ms. Wright noted that these are existing permits which are being renewed.. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the Permits be approved. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE THE 1ST E/W ALLEY SOUTH OF WEST DONALD STREET Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition as signed by Mitchell L. Hall, 2202 South Main Street, South Bend, Indiana and indicating Mr. David A. DeVliegher, Burkhart Advertising, Inc., 1335 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, as the Contact Person, to vacate the following alley: The first east/west alley south of West Donald Street from the east right-of-way line of South Main Street to the west right-of-way line of the first north/south alley east of South Main Street, for a distance of approximately 165 feet and a width of approximately 11 feet. Part situated in Bowman's Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana. Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police Department, Fire Department, Department of Economic Development and the Department of Public Works. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the Board send a favorable recommendation to the Common Council concerning this Vacation Petition. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE - 1ST N/S ALLEY W. OF NORTH LA PORTE AVENUE Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition as signed by Bill and Cheryl Rhodes, 917 West Washington, and Robert and Patrick Lynch, 726 West Washington, South Bend, Indiana, to vacate the following alley: The first north -south alley west of North LaPorte Avenue from the north right-of-way line of West Washington Street to the south right-of-way line of the first intersecting alley north of West Washington Street, for a 1 �I
