REGULAR MEETING MARCH 29. 1993 <br />increase of $963.60 has been submitted for the signalization <br />project at Logan and Mishawaka Avenue. Mr. Leszczynski made a <br />motion that the Change Order be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded <br />the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS <br />- MC_CORMICK & COMPANY, INC. <br />- MONARCH TEXTILE RENTAL SERVICE, INC. <br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Ms. Megan Wright, Pretreatment <br />Coordinator, Division of Environmental Services, submitted the <br />following Wastewater Discharge Permits and recommended approval: <br />1. Monarch Textile Rental Services, Inc. <br />812 Wilbur Street <br />South Bend, Indiana 46628 <br />2. McCormick & Company, Inc. <br />3425 West Lathrop Drive <br />South Bend, Indiana 46628 <br />Ms. Wright noted that these are existing permits which are being <br />renewed.. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the <br />Permits be approved. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE THE 1ST E/W ALLEY <br />SOUTH OF WEST DONALD STREET <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Common Council has submitted to <br />the Board a Vacation Petition as signed by Mitchell L. Hall, 2202 <br />South Main Street, South Bend, Indiana and indicating Mr. David A. <br />DeVliegher, Burkhart Advertising, Inc., 1335 Mishawaka Avenue, <br />South Bend, Indiana, as the Contact Person, to vacate the <br />following alley: <br />The first east/west alley south of West Donald <br />Street from the east right-of-way line of <br />South Main Street to the west right-of-way <br />line of the first north/south alley east of <br />South Main Street, for a distance of <br />approximately 165 feet and a width of <br />approximately 11 feet. Part situated in <br />Bowman's Addition to the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana. <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable <br />recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Area <br />Plan Commission, Police Department, Fire Department, Department of <br />Economic Development and the Department of Public Works. <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the Board send a <br />favorable recommendation to the Common Council concerning this <br />Vacation Petition. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE - 1ST N/S ALLEY W. <br />OF NORTH LA PORTE AVENUE <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that the Common Council has submitted to <br />the Board a Vacation Petition as signed by Bill and Cheryl Rhodes, <br />917 West Washington, and Robert and Patrick Lynch, 726 West <br />Washington, South Bend, Indiana, to vacate the following alley: <br />The first north -south alley west of North <br />LaPorte Avenue from the north right-of-way <br />line of West Washington Street to the south <br />right-of-way line of the first intersecting <br />alley north of West Washington Street, for a <br />1 <br />�I <br />
