IGJ <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 29, 1993 <br />APPROVE CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL AGRONOMIC SERVICES - <br />ENVIRONMENTAL AGRONOMICS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Contract submitted today is with <br />Environmental Agronomics, P.O. Box 28, Quantico, MD, as consultant <br />to provide a project management plan, site specific farm plans, <br />project oversight management and public relations assistance in <br />regards to the City's sludge application program. Mr. Leszczynski <br />noted that, in the past, the City utilized another company for <br />this function. At this time Environmental Agronomics will provide <br />services that include application rates, nutrient calculations of <br />the soil and paper work for the City's permit. Mr. Leszczynski <br />made a motion that this Contract be approved and executed. Mrs. <br />Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE AGREEMENT FOR USE OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR FOOT RACES <br />AND SIMILAR EVENTS - 23RD ANNUAL WALK AMERICA - APRIL 24. 1993 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that pursuant to Resolution No. 9-1985, <br />establishing policies and fees for foot races and similar events, <br />adopted by the Board of Public Works on March 4, 1985, the March <br />of Dimes has fulfilled Resolution requirements and the appropriate <br />Agreement is being presented to the Board at this time. It was <br />noted that on March 1, 1993, the Board of Public Works approved <br />the date for this event subject to the sponsor meeting all <br />Resolution requirements. Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, <br />seconded by Mrs. Mueller and carried, the Agreement was approved <br />and executed. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CONDUCT BICYCLE AND UNCLAIMED PROPERTY AUCTION <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />In a letter to the Board, Police Chief Ronald G. Marciniak <br />requested permission to dispose of unclaimed bicycles and other <br />unclaimed property at a public auction to be held on Saturday, May <br />22, 1993, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the rear of the Police <br />Department garage. Chief Marciniak noted that a partial list of <br />items to be sold includes bicycles, tools, television sets, <br />stereos, car radios, vcr's and other items. <br />It was noted that this auction will be conducted by Kaser's <br />Auction Service. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the <br />request be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE CONTRACT FOR SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY AT PUBLIC AUCTION - <br />KASER AUCTION SERVICE <br />Submitted to the Board was a Contract for Sale of Personal <br />Property at Public Auction as received from Kaser's Auction <br />Service, 68099 Sycamore Road, North Liberty, Indiana. It is noted <br />that the services of Kaser's Auction Service are required for an <br />auction to be held on Saturday, May 22, 1993, of unclaimed <br />bicycles and other unclaimed property at the Police Department. <br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the Contract be approved and <br />executed. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDERS - EDISON ROAD WIDENING PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of three (3) <br />Change Orders indicating an increase in the amount of $4,316.50 <br />and decreases in the amounts of $600.00 and $348.15, in regards to <br />the Edison Road Widening project. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion <br />that the Change Orders be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - SIGNALIZATION PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski indicated that one (1) Change Order indicating an <br />
