029 1 1 1 REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 25, 1993 10, 1991 with Slovik, Mathre, Sathrum Quanbeck Schlink Edwins Architects (SMSQ, Inc.) in regards to the Morris Civic Auditorium and Palais Royale Restoration project. Addendum II fixes costs for all remaining services and reimbursables under the original contract at a maximum of $651,000.00. Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that Addendum II be approved and executed. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. In response to questions from Mr. Tom Howell, Radio Station U93, Mrs. Mueller and Mr. Leszczynski advised that this Addendum takes SMSQ through construction document preparation and plans for restoration. Additionally, nothing has been bid on this project to date and fund-raising is continuing. UNITED RELIG 26 _ 1 QW1 - TY TO AL In a letter to the Board, Mr. Rob Ercoline, Chairperson, 1993 CROP Walk Committee, United Religious Community of St. Joseph County, 2015 Western Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to conduct the annual Walk for world hunger on Sunday, September 26, 1993. The Walk will begin at 2:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. and will utilize the route submitted with the request. Mr. Ercoline noted that the route is identical to the one taken the two (2) previous years. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the request be referred to the appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and recommendation. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - SECONDHAND DEALER Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following one (1) secondhand dealers license application has been received: NAME: ACT II BY: Mary Fairchild and Susan Stangebye ADDRESS: 2123 Miami Street FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Women's clothing Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire Department on the above application. Upon a motion made by Mrs. Mueller, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of a license. APPROVE RELEASE OF EXCAVATION BOND Mr. Larry D. Spradlin, Division of Engineering, recommended that the Bond for Excavation in Streets for Ronald Gillean, d/b/a Quality Plumbing, be released effective January 25, 1993. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bond be released. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and carried a Certificate of Insurance for Ideal Consolidated, Inc., 806 West Sample Street, South Bend, Indiana, was accepted for filing.
