REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 12, 1994 <br />Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 25 of Joseph Keasey Plat, Book 2, Page 69 in the Office <br />of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, said corner being a point on the south right-of-way line of <br />Keasey Street; thence east, along the south right-of-way line of said Keasey Street, a distance of 12.0 <br />feet to the centerline of said 24.0 foot wide public way and also being the Point of Beginning of this <br />centerline description; thence south, along the centerline of said 24.0 foot wide public way, a <br />distance of 113.0 feet to a point on the north line of a 10.0 foot wide public alley and also being the <br />Point of Terminus of this description. <br />Description of Vacation of Keasey Street <br />A parcel of land located in the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/a) of Section Thirteen (13), Township <br />Thirty -Seven (37) North, Range Two (02) East and all being in Portage Township, City of South <br />Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana and as shown on the Plat of Joseph Keasey's Addition to the <br />City of South Bend, Book 2, Page 69, said parcel being a public street now known as Keasey <br />Street and being 20.335 feet each side of the following described centerline: <br />Commencing at the intersection of the east right-of-way line of a public street now known as <br />Michigan Street and the north right-of-way line of a public street now known as Keasey Street, <br />said point of intersection being the southwest corner of Lot No. 2 of the Plat of Joseph Keasey's <br />Addition to the City of South Bend, Book 2, Page 69; thence south, along the east right-of-way <br />line of said Michigan Street, a distance of 20.335 feet to the centerline of said Keasey Street and <br />being the Point of Beginning of said centerline description; thence east along the centerline of <br />said Keasey Street, a distance of 996.13 feet to a point on the west right-of-way line of a public <br />street now known as Carroll Street and being the Point of Terminus of this description, the <br />sidelines of said Keasey Street being extended or shortened to intersect with said east right-of- <br />way line of Michigan Street and the said west right-of-way of Carroll Street. <br />Description of Vacation of a 10 Foot Wide Alley <br />A parcel of land located in the northwest Quarter (NW 1/a) of Section Thirteen (13), Township <br />Thirty -Seven (37) North, Range Two (02) East and all being in Portage Township, City of South <br />Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana and as shown on the subdivision of Joseph Keasey Plat and as <br />recorded in Plat Book No. 2, Page 69 in the Office of the St. Joseph County Recorder, said parcel <br />being a 10.0 foot wide public alley and being 5.0 feet each side of the following described <br />centerline: <br />Commencing at the intersection of the east right-of-way line of a public street now known as <br />Michigan Street and the north right-of-way line of a vacated public street now and formerly <br />known as Elder Street, said point of intersection also being the southwest corner of Lot "B" as <br />shown on the Plat of Elder Place, Book 5, Page 13 in the Office of the St. Joseph County <br />Recorder, thence east, along the north right-of-way line of said vacated Elder Street, a distance of <br />162.5 feet, more or less, to the east line of a 14.0 foot wide north/south alley, thence north, along <br />the east line of said north/south alley, a distance of 118.0 feet, more or less, to the centerline of a <br />10.0 foot wide east/west alley and also being the Point of Beginning of said centerline <br />description; thence east, along the centerline of said 10.0 foot wide alley, a distance of 716 feet to <br />a point on the west line of Lot No. 20 as shown on the recorded plat of Elder Place, Plat Book <br />No. 5, Page 13 in the Office of the St. Joseph County Recorder, said point being the Point of <br />Terminus of this description. <br />Description of Vacation of a 10 Foot Wide Alle <br />A parcel of land located in the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/a) of Section Thirteen (13), Township <br />Thirty -Seven (37) North, Range Two (02) East, and all being in Portage Township, City of South <br />Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana and as shown on the subdivision of Elder Place, Plat Book No. <br />5, Page 13 in the Office of the St. Joseph County Recorder; said parcel being 10.0 foot wide <br />public alley and being 5.0 feet each side of the following described centerline: <br />
