TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE THE N/S ALLEY BEHIND 814 SOUTH MAIN STREET IN CONJUNCTION WITH EXPANSION OF SCHAPER aRAP wnuuc OF VISIONS TO CLOSE MICHIGAN STREET FROM JEFFERSON TO WAYNE IN CONJUNCTION WITH EVENT AT HEARTLAND - AUGUST 21 1994 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the request of City Awning, submitted to the Board on July 5, 1994, the request of Visions, Audio Visual Production, submitted to the Board on August 1, 1994, the request of A.B.A.T.E. of Indiana and the request to close Wayne Street South for a neighborhood block party on August 27, 1994, submitted on August 8, 1994 as well as the request submitted on July 25, 1994 by Panzica Construction, Inc., to temporarily close the alley behind Schafer Gear Works-, have been reviewed by the appropriate City departments and bureaus and are recommended for approval. Additionally, the request of Ms. Gladys Muhammad, on behalf of the LaSalle Elk's Landing Lodge #298, 1001 Western Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, to close Laurel Street, from Western Avenue to the first east/west alley, from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 1994, for a Down Home Reunion, has been reviewed and recommended for approval. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that all the recommendations be accepted and the requests be approved. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried.
