<br />Ms. MJ Murray Vachon, 1248 Longfellow, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />requested that the Board close the 1200 block of Longfellow
<br />Avenue, from Sunnyside to just before Mishawaka Avenue, from
<br />2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a block party.
<br />- FOR A DESIGNATED HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE AT 1034 NORTH
<br />ADAMS STREET
<br />Mr. Wayne O'Connor, Sr., 1034 North Adams Street, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, requested that the parking space in front of his
<br />residence be designated as a handicapped parking space. Mr.
<br />O'Connor stated that he is physically disabled and limited in
<br />how far he can walk and therefore is in need of this parking
<br />space in front of his residence.

<br />VICINITY OF THE SYNAGOGUE ON SEPTEMBER 6-7, 1994 & SEPTEMBER

<br />Mr. Jeffrey New, President, Sinai Synagogue, 1102 East
<br />LaSalle Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, informed the Board that
<br />the High Holy Days will be coming up. Therefore, Mr. New
<br />requested that the City remove parking restrictions in the
<br />vicinity of the Sinai Synagogue, 1102 East LaSalle, on the
<br />following dates:
<br />Tuesday, September 6, 1994 1st day of Rosh Hashanah
<br />Wednesday, September 7, 1994 2nd day of Rosh Hashanah
<br />Wednesday, September 14, 1994 Kol Nidre
<br />Thursday, September 15, 1994 Yom Kipper
<br />- TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 1214 EAST INDIANA AVENUE
<br />Mr. Robert V. Ellis, 1252 Helmen Drive, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />advised that he desires to purchase the City owned vacant lot
<br />next door to the house he owns at 1216 East Indiana Avenue.
<br />The property is commonly known as 1214 East Indiana.
