2Q4 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 18, 1994 <br />apparatus for the Township; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend is the owner of certain personal <br />property described as follows: <br />One 17' Boston Whaler Boat #BWCE7969M82G <br />One E-Z Loader 5.2 Trailer #1ZE1SKT13CG000744 <br />One 75 H.P. Evinrude Motor 00128476; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has determined that such equipment is no <br />longer needed for the operation of the Fire Department of the City <br />of South Bend and desires to transfer said equipment to Osolo <br />Township, for the negotiated sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred <br />Dollars ($3,500.00); and <br />WHEREAS, the Trustee is interested in obtaining said equipment <br />for the Osolo Township Fire Department and is willing to pay Three <br />Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00) to the City of South Bend <br />for such equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-1-11-8, governmental entities may <br />exchange property with one another upon terms and conditions agreed <br />upon by the two entities as evidenced by the adoption of <br />substantially identical resolutions by each entity. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />1) That the transfer of the 17' Boston Whaler Boat, Trailer and <br />Motor described above to Osolo Township for the sum of Three <br />Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00) shall be, and hereby is, <br />approved. <br />2) That upon the payment of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars <br />($3,500.00) from the Trustee of Osolo Township to the City of South <br />Bend, the equipment described above will be released by the City.of <br />South Bend. <br />3) That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon <br />its adoption. <br />Adopted this 18th day of April, 1994. <br />SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/John E. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and <br />carried, the following Community Development Contracts were approved <br />and executed: <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION ACTIVITY <br />The goal of this project is to enable The Historic Preservation <br />Commission to expand its activities throughout the City. The <br />total cost of this activity shall not exceed $19,000.00. <br />NEIGHBORHOOD RESOURCES AND TECHNICAL SERVICES CORPORATION <br />NEIGHBORHOOD RESOURCES/TECHNICAL SERVICES ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goals for this activity include: <br />1.
