0 - 203 <br />REGULAR MEETING APRIL 18, 1994 <br />for disposal of personal property which is no longer needed by <br />the City and which is unfit for the purpose for which it was <br />intended; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public <br />Works of the City of South Bend that service revolver Serial <br />No. BBY2256 a .357 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver, is no <br />longer needed by the City and is unfit for the purpose for <br />which it was intended and has an estimated fair market value <br />of less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said property be disposed of <br />and removed from the City inventory. <br />ADOPTED this 18th day of April, 1994. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />s/SJohn E. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 12-1994 - SALE OF EQUIPMENT TO OSLO TOWNSHIP <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Fire Chief Luther Taylor informed the Board that recently the South <br />Bend Fire Department purchased a new eighteen foot (181) river <br />rescue boat. Upon delivery, the following equipment will no longer <br />be needed by the Department: <br />1. One (1) 17' Boston Whaler Board BWCE7969M82G <br />2. One (1) E-Z Loader 5.2 Trailer #1ZE1SKT13CG000744 <br />3. One (1) 75 H.P. Evinrude Motor #JO128476 <br />Chief Taylor also noted that they have received an offer of <br />$3,500.00 from the Osolo Township Fire Department for the boat, <br />motor and trailer. It is felt that the offer is reasonable and <br />would help a local Fire Department to fill their equipment needs for <br />water rescue. Therefore, Chief Taylor recommended that the Board <br />accept Osolo Township Fire Department's offer for this equipment. <br />Mrs. Manier made a motion that the appropriate Resolution which has <br />been prepared be adopted. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which <br />carried and the following Resolution No. 12-1994 was adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12-1994 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TRANSFERRING <br />A BOSTON WHALER BOAT, TRAILER AND MOTOR <br />TO OSOLO TOWNSHIP <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-9-6-3, the Board of Public Works of <br />the City of South Bend (the Board) has custody of all personal <br />property of the City of South Bend; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-8-13-3, the Osolo Township Advisory <br />Board (the Township) approves the purchase of all firefighting <br />
