<br />REGULAR MEETING JUNE 26. 1995
<br />APPROVE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - STUDEBAKER NATIONAL MUSEUM -
<br />ELECTRICAL REPAIR - PROJECT NO 95-48
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that in accordance with the bid awarded on June 26, 1995, to McDaniel
<br />Fire Protection, Inc. 1055 West Joliet Road, Valparaiso, Indiana, in the amount of $14,966.00 for
<br />the above referred to project, a Contract in said amount was being submitted for Board approval.
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Contract was
<br />approved and the appropriate Certificate of Insurance, Performance Bond and Labor and Materials
<br />Payment Bond as submitted were filed.
<br />APPROVE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - STUDEBAKER NATIONAL MUSEUM - FIRE
<br />ALARM SYSTEM - PROJECT NO 95-48
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that in accordance with the bid awarded on June 26, 1995, to Herrman &
<br />Goetz, 225 South Lafayette, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $26,700.00 for the above referred
<br />to project, a Contract in said amount was being submitted for Board approval. Upon a motion made
<br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Contract was approved and the
<br />appropriate Certificate of Insurance, Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond as
<br />submitted were filed.

<br />SPRINKLER SYSTEM - PROJECT NO 95-48
<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that in accordance with the bid awarded on June 26, 1995, to Shambaugh
<br />and Son, Inc., 7614 Opportunity Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana, in the amount of $24,326.00 for the
<br />above referred to project, a Contract in said amount was being submitted for Board approval. Upon
<br />a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the Contract was
<br />approved and the appropriate Certificate of Insurance, Performance Bond and Labor and Materials
<br />Payment Bond as submitted were filed.
<br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS
<br />The following Community Development Contracts were presented to the Board for approval:
<br />1995 CDBG Contract $20,000 Affirmative fair housing activities
<br />1995 Partnership Program $60,000 Renovation ofNortheast Neighborhood Center
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the above referred to
<br />Contracts were approved and executed.
<br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADDENDA
<br />The following Community Development Addenda were presented to the Board for approval:
<br />South Bend Heritage Foundation Modifying goals which are eligible under Contract
<br />CD95-106.3
<br />l/l/95 - 12/31/95
<br />Bureau of Housing Extends Activities through 12 /31/95 for Emergency
<br />Repair, Roof Loan, R.E.W.A.R.D. and HDC
<br />Problem Properties
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above referred
<br />to Addenda were approved and executed.
<br />APPROVE PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - ERSKINE CLUBHOUSE REMODELING -
<br />DIVISION "A" - MECHANICAL WORK & DIVISION "C" - HVAC WORK - PROJECT NO.95-

<br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Bob Allen, Public Construction Manager, has submitted the
<br />Project Completion Affidavit on behalf of O.J. Shoemaker, 1008 Lincolway East, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, for the above referred to project, indicating a final cost of $40,781.00. Upon a motion made
<br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the Project Completion Affidavit was
<br />approved.
