105 <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 6, 1995 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />1) The City shall transfer to Habitat two (2) parcels of real property more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />Key No. 18-5099-3497 <br />Lot 97 Hartman & Millers Add <br />Commonly known as 1054 Burns Avenue; and <br />Key No. 18-5099-3493 <br />Lot 98 Hartman & Millers Add <br />Commonly known as 1056 Burns Avenue. <br />2) Such transfers shall be accomplished by Quit -Claim Deed, executed by the Mayor of the <br />City of South Bend and attested to by the South Bend City Clerk. <br />3) Such transfers shall be made by the City to Habitat in an "as is" condition with no <br />warranties, indemnities or representations made relative to said real properties. <br />Adopted this 6th day of March, 1995. <br />SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/John E. Jacob, Clerk <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 12-1995 - APPOINT A CITY NEGOTIATING TEAM FOR <br />TEAMSTER NEGOTIATIONS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the following <br />Resolution was adopted by the Board: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12-1995 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />APPOINTING A CITY NEGOTIATING TEAM <br />TO REPRESENT THE CITY FOR TEAMSTER NEGOTIATIONS <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is the appropriate <br />Board to approve any contract or agreement reached with the Teamster Bargaining Unit, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has found, through prior experience, that a joint City <br />■ negotiating team is an effective way of negotiating with representatives of the Teamsters No. 364, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Common Council has passed a resolution designating certain <br />members of the City administration and departments to a negotiating team along with three (3) <br />members of the Common Council to negotiate with the Teamsters No. 364, and <br />WHEREAS, because each meeting for a negotiation session between the City of South Bend and <br />Teamsters No. 364 will be for collective bargaining purposes, the same are closed sessions unless <br />otherwise designated as open to the public. <br />
