REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 3, 1995 <br />AWARD BID - ONE (1) OR MORE ORDINANCE HANDLING ROBOTIC VEHICLE <br />Chief Ronald G. Marciniak, Chief of Police, advised the Board that on November 21, 1994, bids <br />were received and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Chief <br />Marciniak recommends that the Board award the contract to HDE/Falcon Robots, Inc., 2733 <br />Whitmore Street, Ft. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO ACOUIRE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY - 1113 <br />BURNS STREET <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable of recommendations from the <br />Department of Public Works, Code Enforcement, Community and Economic Development and the <br />Park Department, concerning the acquisition of City -Owned property at 113 Burns Street, as <br />requested by Mr. Joshua Briggs, Project Coordinator, Notre Dame Indiana. Further, Mr. Briggs <br />noted that the Notre Dame Chapter of Habitat for Humanity has requested the acquisition of this <br />property to build on. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier <br />and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />
