REGULAR MEETING <br />and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />JUNE 10. 1996 <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted <br />by Mr. Albert Hill, 1012 Lindsey, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party, <br />on Saturday, June 8, 1996, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Lindsey from Sherman to Harrison. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the <br />recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted <br />by Ms. Janet Hoeston,1424 Sunnymede, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block <br />party, on Sunday, June 16, 1996, from 12:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunnymede from Sunnyside <br />to Twyckenham. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Caldwell and <br />carried, the recommendation was approved, subject to an agreement from the petitioner that she <br />contact Ms. Nadia Gillespie, 1428 Sunnymede, to make accommodations so she can ingress and <br />egress from her property during the block party. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted <br />by Ms. Kim Furlong, 1629 College, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block <br />party, on Saturday, June 15, 1996, from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on College from Keller to Bulla. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the <br />recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted <br />by Ms. Vicki Black, 1218 East Dayton, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block <br />party, on Saturday, July 20, 1996, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Leer Street from Dubail to <br />Randolph. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, <br />the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT BLOCK PARTY <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted <br />by Ms. Rachelle Burton, 821 North O'Brien, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to <br />block party, on Sunday, June 9, 1996, from 12:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Prast from O'Brien to <br />Huey. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the <br />recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT PARADE <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a <br />request as submitted by Mr. Calvin Manns, Macedonia Baptist Church, 1862 North Olive, South <br />Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to parade, on Saturday, July 13, 1996, from 8:30 a.m. <br />until 10:30 a.m. on the designated route as submitted. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT RUM VILLAGE DAY <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of <br />Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted <br />by Mr. Dave Norris, Rum Village Partnership Center, 609 West Indiana, South Bend, Indiana, to <br />conduct the above referred to event, on Saturday, July 20, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Indiana <br />Avenue from Franklin to Kemble Streets.
