REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 13. 1996 <br />I <br />Additionally submitted was the Project Completion Affidavit indicating this new final cost. Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the Change Orders <br />(Final) and the Project Completion Affidavit were approved. <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADDENDA <br />The following Community Development Addenda were presented to the Board for approval: <br />Neighborhood Partnership Program <br />CD95-302 Addendum II <br />Neighborhood Partnerships Program <br />CD94-302 Addendum V <br />Neighborhood Partnership Program <br />CD93-603 Addendum VIII <br />Updates federal wage decision <br />Updates federal wage decision <br />Updates federal wage decision <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the above referred to <br />Addenda were approved and executed. <br />APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL - SANITARY SEWER MASTER PLAN - IIN KOTE - UN TEK TIF <br />DISTRICT <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that the Board is in receipt of a Proposal between the City of South Bend and <br />Ken Herceg & Associates, Inc., 211 West Washington, South Bend, Indiana, for professional <br />engineering services to the Department of Public Works in its effort to study the services of the UN <br />Kote-I/N Tek TIF District with sanitary sewer. Mr. Leszczynski noted that the Proposal is in the <br />amount of $5,450.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier <br />and carried, the Proposal was approved and executed. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - KETTERING <br />DRIVE STORM SEWER - PROJECT NO. 96-20 <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Dan Weisel, Division of Engineering, requested permission to <br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Mr Weisel stated that this project <br />will install storm sewers on Kettering Drive and the surrounding area. Further, the source of <br />funding is Wastewater revenues. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. <br />Caldwell and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - NETWORKING <br />EQUIPMENT <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Milford Hutsell, Department of Administration and Finance, <br />requested permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to equipment. The <br />source of funding will come from each individual department's Capital Budget. Therefore, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the request to advertise for <br />the receipt of bids was approved. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED <br />VEHICLES <br />Mrs. Kathy Dempsey, Director, Department of Code Enforcement, requested permission to advertise <br />for the sale of approximately fourteen (14) abandoned vehicles, which are being stored at Super Auto <br />Salvage Corporation, 3300 South Main Street, South Bend, Indiana. It was noted that all vehicles <br />have been stored more than fifteen (15) days, identification checks had been run for auto theft and <br />the owners and lienholders notified. Upon a motion made by Mrs. Manier, seconded by Mr. <br />Caldwell and carried, the above request was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - ONE (1) OR <br />MORE SKID STEER LOADER <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Division of Equipment <br />Services, requested permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to <br />equipment. Mr. Chlebowski stated that this equipment will be for use by the Park Department, and <br />funding will be provided by the User Department Capital Fund. Therefore, upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Manier and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids <br />was approved. <br />
